Our team offers weekly training times at The Ogre Compound in Mt. Juliet TN, video review for when you can't make it to the gym, customized lifting plans on the Train Heroic app, local weightlifting meets, opportunities to attend national events, all in a fun encouraging inclusive environment.
Technique sessions are also available, whether it's weekly or monthly or as needed. It may be leading up to a weightlifting competition, a CrossFit competition, or you just want to get better at lifting. We can work on snatches, cleans, clean and jerk, just jerks whatever you need improvement on.
We'll use whatever technique or lift variation that it will take to help you improve. We have access to blocks to pull from at a bunch of different heights, jerk boxes to work from for jerks and also snatch drops and snatch balance, and also rigs to use for jerk recoveries.
If you're ready to get strong, we can help you level up. Our team offers a fun, encouraging, inclusive environment with weekly training times at The Ogre Compound in Mt. Juliet TN. Individualized strength training plans are delivered on the Train Heroic app and you will be coached on how to do the movements properly.
Strength Plus Programming: This general strength program includes the fundamental powerlifting lifts: squat, bench press, and deadlift, as well as complementary accessory and balance exercises, using dumbbells, kettlebells, machines, bands, and balance pads.
Bone Density Club Programming: Strength is necessary at any age! This program includes a wide variety of dumbbell, kettlebell, machines, and bodyweight exercises, specifically designed for the 45+ age group, yielding real world results such as better bone density, ability to hike on vacations, and playing with the grandkids on the floor and easily getting up afterwards.
I had the opportunity to be coached by Jennifer at the world championships in 2019. She expertly handled my warmup and competition attempts and I had an incredible meet! I’ve competed for many years nationally and internationally and been handled by many different coaches. Jennifer is definitely my go-to next time I need a meet coach.
