This is a ladies only event - we're keeping it small so that we can focus on learning the lifts and also spend some time after chatting and getting to know each other a little. Some female members of JP Weightlifting will be on hand so you can meet them as well.
Lifting will include a warm-up, examples of good lifting technique. We'll probably focus on the snatch lift since that always seems to be the one that people want to work on, although we can work on cleans as well. Prior experience is not required.
We can also talk about future training sessions, whether it's personal training or being a team member. The event is free but we will have t-shirts and tanks on hand for purchase to support the workshop if you're interested.

The focus of this workshop will be on all the nitty gritty details that go into making an explosive jerk that will get you 3 white lights in a competition or at least satisfy your inner need to punch the ceiling as hard as you can.
